Reasons to Dance

The Kids Having Fun
Dance isn't just the Tango. Think of the many forms of dance you see every day, in pop videos, or on the TV. Perhaps you visited the Dome and watched the aerial performers, on stilts or high up on ropes, most trained in dance.

It will improve your strength, coordination, stamina and flexibility. If you think you can handle your feet well on the football pitch then try the dance floor!

It is cardiovascular exercise, dance regularly and it will help keep your heart fit and keep you trim.

Dance is an expression of your personality and a way of exploring who you are.

It is an excellent introduction into many other creative activities, such as drama and music. Many actors have studied dance, some even started out there.

You will meet new people and make new friends, not to mention learning more about other cultures around the world.

You will work closely with your teacher and other students, this will help develop your communication and leadership skills.

Most important of all, it is great fun!
